You just cant have a captain who is not any good at his job. There are other issues with him as well but the main one is he is not a good keeper so how can he be captain?

Hughes was unlucky to be whiteanted by Lillee/Marsh during his captaincy, and then after they retired Hughes had to play his final 9 test matches against one of the greatest bowling attacks in cricket history.

This line of argument would hold a bit more weight if he managed to take more of the chances they create, wouldn't it?
