Who was the bloke talking to Nathan Brown in the dressing room?

He looked a bit like Shane Flanagan...but it wasn't him.

Your mob have not been afraid to put in Crichton, Staines, Laurie, Aekins, Burton in the last few years...i think sometimes a coach needs to grow a set...oops i just lit the fuse
The only time Bea gives a young bloke a go is when he has no other option, Dunster only got a go because injuries and Jennings got banned. Brown is an exceptional talent but Arthur had no other choice once Norman left and Rheed also only got a go once we lost both our first choice dummy halves. Development club that has a coach too scared to give a young bloke a go.

Completely agree and you have nailed it why these blokes got their start...

I'd be surprised if the Chooks debuted either of those players in the wet against a full strength Melbourne Storm.

Yeh I think the weather plays a part here. As A Johns said earlier today
"You need 16 players turning up wearing the BHP boiler suit, who are prepared to play like back-rowers, with their halfback steering them around."

Well, we've put another backrower on the field

I don't feel it is a good idea to put Penisini in a game like this and in these conditions.
Dunster would have to be upset however. He is a winger thou, So what does this say about our centre options moving forward? We rely on the injury prone Opacic and the only back up is Oldfield? Seems ridiculous. But what backs do we have? Looking at the NSw cup side it seems All good and Dunster are the only guys ready.
If Blake is unavailable next week I suspect Penisini will start at centre. This change is about taking advantage of the weather (targeting the edges is riskier) while not putting Penisini into a debut like this without even a game of reserve grade under his belt.

Well we all know it's not BA.

Nah - this bloke had hair!

But seriously - I caught a glimpse of him, and he really looked like Shane Flanagan, but why would Flanno be in our sheds, wearing our gear?

It's not him, but I don't think I've seen that bloke before.

I don't think it was David Kidwell.

They should target Gennings all night...I'm sure he can drop it or fumble it 4 or 5 times tonight

What about that other young bloke he gave a go? Niakora or something?
