If the NRL introduces a loan system, loaning JArthur out may be a good option for all parties.

We probably don't have a spot for him in the NRL team for at least a couple of seasons and NRL game time is what he will benefit from. Not playing reggies.

He's unlikely to not want to return with his father the coach here and it will probably do him some good to get some other ideas than his old mans.

It certainly didn't harm Harry Grant.

Oates wouldn't be a bad call, but not as a winger, maybe a bench spot as an edge forward. Dont really like him as a winger but he does have some game.

He would be handy for some team. As someone who can cover the outside backs as well as the forwards he could be a useful utility player. He does have poor hands and I’m not sure he’s worth a huge amount these days.

Corey Oates has been dropped by the Broncos. Should we try and sign him for next season to replace Ferguson?

NO No NO NO
Did anyone see Oates absolutely burned on the outside by Saab, sure Saab is quick but Oates looked like Mark Tookey trying to keep up with him.
There is absolutely no chance Parra would be chasing Oates..

I reckon history now shows especially after this year, a players form at another club isn’t necessarily what they are going to produce at the eels.....

anyhow Saab wouId also make our wingers look show too....

Two different teams, two different weeks and too different decisions. Brown accidental knees gets 3 weeks, Topou accidental knees to Feldt, nothing to see here, no penalty and not even a mention on the charge sheets. Roosters protected species.

Was the Brown decision a knee-jerk reaction ? :)

If we were to loan him out, I wouldn't like to loan him to a weak team like the the Dogs where he may just get smashed most games and pick up bad habits. I would seek to loan him out to a team like the Bunnies. Strong roster and they are in the market for a organising half. The Raiders or Knights maybe an option depending on roster next year too.

Would have loved to send him to the Storm or Rorters for a year, but they are flush with halves, unless the Rorters cop a heap of injuries again next year. Of course if we were to loan out a player like Arthur, it would be under the stipulation that he can't play against us in the big end of season games.

I sometimes think of quitting the NRL. It's literally becoming like the La Liga in Spain with 2 teams.

Not only do Storm and Roosters manipulate the game on the field, they have now started manipulating the game off the field. Their friends in the media protect them and their agendas. It's getting ridiculous.

I am just waiting for them to manipulate the head high sin bin rule. Teddy has already mastered the art of falling onto player's biceps and the Storm will follow suit.
