I didn’t say if the house heritage listed. I said if you were in a conservation area. Very common and likely where you live
You also used the word heritage.

Why of course that would beI'm sorry, what was the name of that place that does delicious pies?
What a stupid name for a pie shop
You've had some good advice here. But......
If you are going to do this - like for like - as you say, and not really increasing the perimeters of the replacement, just go ahead and do it - as long as you do it properly, which I am sure you will being in the trade.
You're only talking about a small roof replacement - it's hardly a huge heritage (or conservation) project. It's not really worth the red tape (and I can vouch for the pain of going through the red tape for projects like that) for a job as small as this.
I'm certainly not one who has ever gone against lawful requirements when building, and I have always towed the line as my license requires me to, but for something as small as this, do it properly and there shouldn't be any issues.
best pies I've ever had
Ever had a ricotta, cheese and brown bean pie?
Its been a while since I've had one but I don't remember being blown away. I think I went to the one near Bribie Island.best pies I've ever had

f**ken idiot or criminal mastermind? My Mother in Law's partner used to live near a Beefy's. Stole a bunch of loyalty cards and used to stamp them himself at home to get free pies. Tried to give us a card when we visited once.
F**ken idiot.
