So are news limited merkins just hanging outside the hotels just hoping a player will walk out onto the balcony?
The good news is that they would have f**ked themselves up if comp gets closed because of incident

no nrl , watch kayo And fox subscriptions plummet , papers would get less clicks

Man goes out onto private balcony for fresh air, putting the whole NRL at risk due to fear of spreading COVID. Should have stayed inside in recirculated air of the shared ducted air conditioning system.

World's gone mad, I tell ya....

‘yes appears silly but in scheme of things let’s have a look

- he is a close contact of a Sydney exposure site , anyone else and that includes overseas travellers would not be allowed to go to balcony or have balcony access.
- he is in hotel and if you recall they had to tape up the balcony doors - so he thumbed his nose at the rules
- nrl painstakingly how many times have had to tell the players the rules and even with all media about breaking rules from bbq and banging chicks in bubble its everywhere and obvious that they have to follow the rules .

‘’frankly Idgaf about these players anymore and if QLD were to boot the NRL , I have zero sympathy, especially given that they were given special permission to operate when other business are not allowed and people have lost their livelyhoods

NRL isn’t getting shut down over this but Jimmy needs to be kicked out of Queensland if the NRL/Qld Health are serious otherwise it’s just going to keep happening

The new Charlie-Uniform-November-Tango variant of Covid can be fatal for balconies.

Do these merkins think of anyone other than themselves? Shut the season down. And sack Peter V'Landys

As the Sydney wave shows, travelling to and from the airport is obviously higher risk than hanging out alone on your balcony. BUT we all know many of the rules are purely for theatrics. For the well paid bureaucrats and politicians to look like they are doing something. Have they banned international travel entirely? Of course not. That would be too extreme even though it would be more effective than banning blokes from their own balconies. But the latter shows them doing something and that's all they care about. For the daily TV news cycle to give the impression they're strong and effective.
