Some guy sold a baseball or basketball card for 8million.
Pieces of art sell for millions. Guys pay 20k for a watch when they can get a reliable one for $100.
Art and watches are different. I guess I never saw t-shirts as being collectables. All good.

Hold on. At least shares have assets, company earnings and profits from selling goods and services. A t-shirt can only rely on supply and demand. Cryptos seem to operate on thin air FOMO.

It's rare. It can not be re-produced as an original print from the actual time frame with tag. Most sold where worn and trashed.

Shares are volatile.

why does something have to be tangible, value is subjective, I don't view brands like Supreme like others who will pay a mint for new releases.

Until it hits your bank account, or in your hands everything is thin air, just like you have only gained or lost money until you hit the sell button.
Not with income generating assets.

This is the future. There will be a time when interest like now will be next to nothing however they will want your Crypto currency as surety in case you f**k up.

These banks will say ‘just repay what you owe but we hold your crypto and stake it on your behalf and take the profits whilst you use our money for free.’

It will be a new way for the banks to make money. Better than equity because it’s an appreciating asset and they will stake it and realise the profit.

With property going up so much interest is now irrelevant. They need to find a way to make money other than something that has traditionally been their bread and butter. Japan has tried the zero and below zero interest rate and their banks have been in free fall since 2016.

Are you concerned about the banks creating their own crypto and it becoming the dominant type?

Bitcoin BOOMING at the moment..Wish I was game enough, and had spare cash. My son is into it big time - and he is killing it. Got more patience than me, and has faith---handles the the ebbs and flows without blinking an eye lid. (Says he's in for the longhaul. I ALMOST got scammed. Seriously looked at BITCOIN around US election time. 1 BITCOIN was worth about $14000 at the time..Up to $70,000 today..My fault was I signed up with a bodgy company. Luckily I realised and got my money back before any damage was done. Took me about 6 weeks and a lot of stuffing about, but got it back..Can't believe I was SO STUPID!!!..but the bastards were convincing...They could have sold me the Sydney Harbour Bridge!!!!.

They still need to use a platform that has been tried and tested. Most use the etherium blockchain. Cardano is even better and faster and the creator has already signed up most of Africa.

I was watching an interview on The Highwire with Catherine Austin Fitts and she was saying the bank digital currency or currencies will become the vast majority. I don't know enough about her or it to know if she's on the money, pun intended. But if they do go with one, say cardano, does that affect all the others much?

Here is a stat
You WON and I was one of few who backed you remember.

I haven’t won anything yet because only a small amount has been cashed in. Pou is just conservative and less risk averse and you need people like that too.

I just hope some of you bought some a few years ago. Plenty sent me a PM and I always recommended Cardano and some altcoins because a whole Bitcoin or a few was always a risk but one I was willing to take.
