This was a huge missed chance.

If I was Penrith I'd shift Crichton to centre. And keep Naden on wing with To'o. Momo out or on wing for Naden.

Storm will execute these and suck them in more often.

The inconsistency with the bunker is what shits people to tears. You're either a ref in the air or you only get involved on groundings and lead up to a try and when/if a player gets hurt in a tackle and play is stopped. Going back 2 or 3 plays on some occassions and not on others is either being lazy, incompetent or corrupt..take your pick.
Incidents not caught at real time needs to be left to the MRC.
The NRL is barely going to come out and say our officials completely f'd up. Not a good look or a vote of confidence for the refs.
What i do know is that touchies are almost useless and irrelevant...what the f do they do? Miss thousands of fwd passes a year and then miss blatant indiscretions like Luai on Moses. Also missed Momirovski's strip on Gutho with 3 mins to go which should've been a penalty giving us the opportunity to kick a penalty goal.
Years ago the touchies would race in with a raised flag to get their heads on camera but at least report an incident.
I also do know that ash klown with his many f ups this year should not have been anywhere near that field on Sat night...
I really do hope 6 again calls are fkd off next year. Too many teams exploiting this so they can set their defence. Give me a penalty anyday.

Moses didn't get in front him, he reached for him to milk the obstruction after he was through the line. It got the try overturned, so fair play according to the rules. I don't see at as any different to the Kenny situation except it stopped an actual try as opposed to a possible try if everything went correctly for the attacking team and the defence didn't slide. And lol at "sore ankle" last I heard it's likely a ruptured Achilles. As for who replaces who after an injury, that's hardly relevant. That's on the coach, neither injury was from foul play, just bad luck. A stoppage to slow the other sides momentum shouldn't be judged on the quality of the replacement.

And yes, you were hard done by with the non call on Moses being taken out. Penalty for sure, sin bin who knows. In my opinion he deserved a stint in the bin, but so did the high shot on Sorenson.

The way I seen the game after a replay.

Penriths defense was great.
Rcg was best forward
Most 50/50 calls went your way as did the luck.
Parra I felt where better side by a small amount but Stone 3 knock ons and a bad pass cost them along with N.Brown forcing a pass and W.Smith challenging a ball he raked.

Kikau come on and was garbage. Bad pass, penalty.

Critchon defense on wing and attack is not as good as at centre. I'm left scratching my head. He is a better player then Momo so why is he being moved to accommodate him? Ridiculous. Ealry in game Momo flicks a pass when close to scoring. But had Critchton been in centres he goes over and doesn't even need to pass.
I'd rather Naden on wing tbh and Momo out. You've weakened your best strike weapon in backline to fit Momo in. Its ridiculousl

Also have a look at my photos. Cleary had Guth covered. Momo comes in and so does Critchton. Storm will rip use apart all day via this play.

I agree with all of that except the bit about who was marginally better. I give us the points there as we created a few more chances.

Legit question. How do you guys feel about the stoppage when Waqa was injured and already off the field?

I think the NRL need to have a serious look at the gamesmanship and cynical bullshit instead of coming up with stupid ideas like 7 tackle sets from a kick into touch.

As a Panthers fan I find it a bit annoying the amount of attention this one incident with Kenny is getting. EVERY team does the same shit week after week. You guys were the "cramp" specialists for a while there and arguably the innovators of the neck clutch followed by the miraculous resurrection.

The NRL needs to decide if the gamesmanship is in or out. It shouldn't make a difference when it occurs in the game or if it's a final or not.

In saying all of that I get why you lot are angry. I would have been ropable if you had won off the back of Fergo's theatrics. The anger is misdirected though, it's up to the NRL to stop teams exploiting shit rules. You know something is seriously wrong when Parra fans are bandwagoning for the Storm.

It's a shame someone had to lose that game. Both teams were immense. It should go down as one of the games of the last few years for intensity and commitment from every player on the field.
I legit thought it was stupid since he was already off the field.

But at least Waqa had a real injury instead of a sore footsie.

I think the singling out of the penrith trainer is pretty f**kin stupid when the entire f**king league does it ..... TBH I think its a massive deflection from the NRL for not actually doing anything of significance about it yet.

@The Silverdale Phantom we have a vacancy while hindy supports the Panthers for the next week or 2. Would you like to fill in?
I would but Hindy is going to make a call to the in game moderator from his bunker and call me offside from the kick off and it’s downhill from there.

Then on ivans instructions, he might come on to the game day thread, pitch a tent and set up a gas bbq while a Panther re-enacts yet another Oscar winning performance from the opening scene from Saving Private Ryan.

I can just picture Ciraldo barking out the fake injury positions in training this week.

“ Hold head, 2, 3” “ Grimace 2, 3” Wait for it Kikau you pork chop! And wipe that smile off of your face, the camera sees all, remember boys, the camera sees all!

A choice between Ivan and the Storm is not really a choice.

I might go nuclear and back Annesley and the officials. Ref, touchies, bunker etc. Plenty of ridiculous calls and contest ending decisions to cheer on.

Besides, the officials never lose. A week in reserve grade and then straight into a sudden death prelim lol.

The seasons turned into a joke as per usual.

Why we all support this stupid game is unknown.

f**k me you talk some shit at times. I suppose you tore up your Tigers membership after Dane Laurie's oscar nomination earlier in the year? Of course you didn't, it's shit, but every team does it. Getting all high and mighty about it in another teams forum in a game your team didn't feature in makes you look like a knob. Glass houses and all that.
