Oi @hineyrulz I know you are probably 10 beers deep at this point but how did your cortisone shoulder injection go?

Mine didn't work. Dr said next step is surgery. Managed to get some anti-inflammatory tabs. Going to try that for a few weeks and hope for the best. Just need it to settle so I can work on it.

Tried phyiso but its hard to do exercises with pain. Also got sick of 'does this hurt' bullshit questions. Less poking, more solving!
I’m in the same boat as well, it’s better but not better if that makes sense. It’s still sore when I do certain things but it’s not as bad. I’m going to see the doc next week and see what they can do. Originally my doc wanted me to get two shots because it the bursitis was in two places. Maybe I just need another one??

I did play golf last week and hit 92 at royal palms which I was pretty happy with considering the last 6 holes my shoulder was screaming at me.

I can’t even take the club back more than halfway. Will see if anti inflammatory tablets work better than beer.

No golf makes Gary a Sad Panda.

That was my first game in 2 months, gee I missed it.

I’m thinking about getting a new set of clubs so best advice?? Best brands and place to go to get fitted and all that?? My clubs are 10 years old and I bought it off a mate who bought them and didn’t like them. Tommy Amerkins they’ve been pretty good but are starting to feel worn out.

I’ve got about 2k set aside but if I can something cheaper I will.

Srixon are quality and are probably the best value premium clubs. The ZX5 and ZX7 are both great irons and their ZX woods go like a shower of shit.

If you want to get properly fit and get brand new clubs 2K might not be enough if you want irons + woods and hybrids.

Alternative is to look for run outs on last years models. For Srixon that includes Z785 and z585 irons.

Fittings at Drummond and Golf World are a waste of time. You might as well just buy them off the rack.

If you want a proper fitting the guys at Cool Clubs on the Gold Coast or Vic Park is the place to go.

If you give me some basics on your game - how far you hit it, shot shape etc. I can do some research tonight and narrow down some options for you.

I know my game pretty well and haven’t done a fitting for years.

How old are you?
I think it's old age. I never done my Injuries at a specific time. Just wear parts out.

I’m pretty sure I told you guys to buy Shiba. Inu coin. Gaz, can you check please?

Some people just don't care about money that much tbh so can not be bothered with investing and all that. I know to some it seems stupid but people like myself are content just plotting along.
I'd rather knowledge then money.

I've got aches in both knees the right needs a replacement. I did my AC joint playing soccer about 10 years ago. Now it gives me hell.
All from sport.
I had a fall and need an op on my lower back.
The joys of ageing.

Well I played cricket for 16 years before my first real serious game of golf, so a lot of covet drives early doors. But I’m not a huge hitter of the ball the boys say my back swing is not big or fast enough and I need to get height into my tee shots. So they did suggest a flex 10.5 % Driver. My mate has Srixon and he reckons they are pretty good. My other mate bought some Cleveland’s and I’ve had a bit of a hit with his irons and they are also very good.
