I think we unfortunately got Hodgson a year too late. No one's fault, just bad luck. He could have made a real difference this year. Next year he'll be playing with a bunch of nuffies. Oh well.

Nrown will turn 30 before next years season kicks off so I reckon this is a combination of he isn't getting any younger, we have player like Rodwell who are ready, and we need his money for someone else. He has been a great servant of the club for 6 years and helped transform us from a pack with a soft underbelly into one of the toughest packs in the NRL.

That pack won't look as tough when Niukore, Papali'i, Matterson, Stone, Kaufusi, and Brown aren't in it.

You have to ask some questions if it is true we're trying to offload Nrown because of salary cap issues. I suspect that isn't the real reason, but if it is, how much the f**k are we actually paying Gutho, Paulo, RCG, Hodgson and planning to pay Moses and Drown in 2024? Because we've got f**k all at the Club otherwise who will deserve $300k a season then.

The recruitment muppets are going to look like f**king gooses when the NRL announces the salary cap for 2023 is going to be $10.5 million (which is what the smarter teams are doing) and we're letting players f**k off because we're working to a $9.5 million salary cap.

Hopgood isn't decent enough to get a gig in the Panthers 17 though even when 2/3rds of their backrow is missing? Salmon gets a game ahead of him - A bloke we virtually refuse to put on the field.
