We aren't keeping Matto. So we negotiate a two year deal, then with 18 months left to go we want him gone. I hope he was retained cheap.
Maybe we are trying to get Chrighton as well as keep Matto?

Not even the Tigers are dumb enough to take him off our hands.Let’s hope we have some takers.
last time around there was only manly interested iirc.
his form seems to have dropped off a cliff

Hope he likes the cold.UK would be his only hope and ours. Others would be a cut deal where we pay half his salary.
We obviously paid him overs and now we want him gone. I said this last year he looks cooked and people said carrying an injury. He's done.
Nrown will turn 30 before next years season kicks off so I reckon this is a combination of he isn't getting any younger, we have player like Rodwell who are ready, and we need his money for someone else. He has been a great servant of the club for 6 years and helped transform us from a pack with a soft underbelly into one of the toughest packs in the NRL.
yep. U weren’t the only one calling it. When we resigned him, what was his form like? I can’t recall.
It was decent but not as consistent. Most of us wanted him signed but not on overs. By memory he got about 550k. I think our club knew and reason only offered him 2yrs. At that point we also didn't know how good Papali'i would be and Mattersons form had ben average.
Wow, quite the exodus. I thought our players were supposed to love playing for the bald dope. Any ideas on who we are targeting to fill all these spots? We aren't keeping Matto.
“The boys love playing for BA”Wow, quite the exodus. I thought our players were supposed to love playing for the bald dope. Any ideas on who we are targeting to fill all these spots?
You did mate. And a great call from you and the club.Have you ever read the story "The Boy who called wolf " Well your are the Serbian who call shit list. Everyone ends up in it.
But yes you have called him the hand brake for a few years now. However it was less then a week ago that I predicted he would be given a tap on shoulder.
Wow.We aren't keeping Matto.
Lots of merkins were saying we had to extend BA last year becuase the players would want to know who the coach was before they re-signed. All we kept was dad's army. What a great decision it has turned out to be.Wow, quite the exodus. I thought our players were supposed to love playing for the bald dope. Any ideas on who we are targeting to fill all these spots?
He is quoted in the article which I assume is from his “captains run” article:I wonder if BA will talk about it in the weekly Captains Run video. Isnt that released soon?
It’s laughable it really is, we keep Cornholio and all we have kept are the older blokes on overs.Lots of merkins were saying we had to extend BA last year becuase the players would want to know who the coach was before they re-signed. We also have old man Josh Hodgson fresh off a 3rd ACL injury! It’s laughable it really is, we keep Cornholio and all we have kept are the older blokes on overs.
Matto, Mahoney, Marata and Papaliiiii all gone, throw in Stone and Oppa. All we have signed is a bloke who has played 6 games and upgrading a fat plodder like Ogden. I can see us really struggling to make the 8 next season especially if Uncle Arthur is still here.
Yep and as soon as they found out Bea would remain, they all f**ked off. Except Princess Gutho who we are stuck with after again bowing to his demands.Lots of merkins were saying we had to extend BA last year becuase the players would want to know who the coach was before they re-signed. All we kept was dad's army. What a great decision it has turned out to be.
