State of Origin 2022: The Decider

So is it just me that thinks Cleary is a fair bit over rated. He is a very good half-back that has the advantage of playing in a fantastic team that is almost always on the front foot. How many times has he been the guy to drag you back into the game when down? Was totally outplayed by DCE tonight and in many other origin games.
The only game in his 15 or so game origin career he has killed it was last game when we were all over them and on the front foot all game.
Tonight was just screaming for him to take control and it was just inside ball after inside ball and a pretty harmless bomb.
Don't get me wrong, he is the best option at half that we have in NSW, but if Mitch Pearce played like Cleary for those 15 games, he would have been blasted each time

Disappointing result/second half from a NSW perspective, but was a hectic paced and high quality game, and still could have gone either way down to the final two minutes.

Apart from the one half of football where he analed Morgan Harper, has Talakai really been consistent enough at a high level to be considered for origin? Or was he just lucky that the game he played against Manly happened to be a channel 9 game so Fittler was there to see it and the space cadet thought he was the best thing since sliced bread??!!
Kotoni staggs gave Talakai a bath the following week as well from memory.

Not playing Kotoni, persisting with Tupou and not picking JAC was stupid. And seriously after being the best on the field for us in game 1 why not play Wighton. Fittler is a space cadet. And that is before I even mention the bullshit behind RCG not playing either.

Freddy has now lost 2 unloseable series with bone headed selections.

Fancy leaving Jack Wighton out for talakai.

And the Penrith protection racket can get stuffed. It's doesn't feel like a normal origin loss as for the first time NSW had just as many fwits then QLD
Agree. When Junior went off I was struggling to find a player in our team that I wanted to score
