So Hooper’s ratings gave Paulo 5.5/10 - lowest of any forward who played tonight.
That’s despite him having more post contact metres than any other forward for NSW.

he also have Cleary a 6 when he deserved a 3 at best

What did Crichton and Talakai get?

I said before that we are in a current NRL weak era. If Penrith is so special like everyone claims then we should have won this series easily. Yet we’ve lost 2 of the last 3 series since Penrith started dominating. They have a lot of above average players but not “superstars” like everyone keeps saying. In fact I would say Turbo and Latrell papered over a lot of the cracks of the current NSW teams. Without them this team is obviously nothing special.

Burton is not a centre. Qld went after him all game. Had 3 decent breaknin the first half alone going at him. He put up one good bomb but overall awful.
Crighton is a big strong kid. But better options around. Lomax being one.
Toupo had strong carries and a few errors.

Wighton was the best player on field in game one and not in side? I don't get it.That kids built for origin.
Talaki was a poor choice.

I thought Safiti went well. Not much in the game. A poor try before halftime was probably the difference

Pretty dumb thing to say but. Was a close game against QLD notna club sidem

7 Panthers where in the side. As much as I rate these player Luai and Crighton for me are not 5yr origin level players. There those on the cusp types.
NSW lost two close games. If Turbo,Latrell,Haas where all fit its 3-0

You’re literally agreeing with me.

Crightons solid as is Luai. I just don't think their origin level.

Munster out wasn't an issue as it gave Ponga more ball playing time and he is better then Munster at this. They still had Hunt,DCE,Grant who create.

We had to many ball running types and not enough creative types. Also Latrell,Turbo and Hass are huge outs. So is Wighton which should ofmcome straight back in.

I agree. There are very few “superstar” players in our game. I mean players who can win you a game on their own. Latrell and Turbo are certainly among them. Penrith showed that they have a lot of above average players but not a lot of “superstars” in that sense. A lot like our team actually. They’re just collectively a great team and they’re dominating a weak era.

Haas is also a star. Nsw had 3 of the best players in game missing. Wasn't much in the game at all. Same as game 1.
