If they were smart they should wait and see who the new coach would be and see how they play under him. If we get someone like Ciraldo he could entice a player like Crichton to come with him. I'm certain that if it's the Dogs that are trying to grab him he would take Gutherson with him as they don't have a fullback of any note.

Phil Gould rates him and has told him that if he can get a release he would offer him a 4 year deal starting next season for more money and double the contract length. His management leak it so that our club can expedite his replacement (which we were probably going to do anyway).

Moses doesn't strike me as being overly devoted or unwaveringly loyal to BA or any coach for the matter... If anything given the way BA has seemingly treated one of his better mates (Nrown), Moses might be quite happy to see the back of BA

This is my take on it.

It has probably been in the works for the last few weeks hence why Ciraldo has a clause he can still leave the Panfers before pre season starts if he can get a first grade gig.

if the club wanted him out and were looking at options cuz of our form about a month ago, they could have had talks with prospective new replacements, these things don't happen overnight so yeah, you could be on the money there

The point is that the NRL clubs aren’t on a level playing field. If they were they would all win premierships about as often.

Maybe so, but that is also any easy “out” for the club who need to be proactive and not let our gun juniors , re sign coach after 60 point loss… who does that ?go to other clubs, parramatta lost their way many years ago….. and can’t find their way back
