I'd like to see Rein in for Ogden. Mahoneys form has been poor. 55mins might be his go. We need someone who can run from hooker.

Moses I hopes back.

Rein, NBrown,Marata,Bryce would be my bench.

Probably to late now to change the backline so I'd stick with it. Does lack spark.

Nice to see MAKATOA gone.
Odd to see Rodwell viewed as ready, given a few 10min stints then dropped for Ogden and Bryce.

Not sure what he did wrong but to late now to bring him back.

Its very hard to judge which reggies players should get a run ... maka went back to reggies n ran for a million miles. Kaufusi might not be great but he is still better than anything to come up from reserves

I agree rein maybe to rest mahoney during the game ... but rein pooped his pants when he got a run earlier too

Makatoans had a lot ofhit ups. His meters gained per run was one of the worse of the forwards.

Not expecting superciach to make any unforced changes - although it would be great to see a gameday Russell/Simonssen surprise at fullback and Gutherson shift to the centres, just to change something up.

If you are playing with your 17 at this stage of the comp, it should be to give some players a chance to get a run in firsts that need it. Rodwell could step up and do a job in the semi's if we cop an injury and the coaching staff know what he brings to first grade. They need to see Ogden in firsts for a few weeks to see whether we can drop him into a semi if needed. That is why Makatoa has been 'relegated'.

My mail is that Ogden was going to be named earlier but copped a couple of minor injuries.
Nrown has pins inserted in his thumb and so wont be picked until they are sorted. With his level of first grade experience, we already know what Nrown can do if needed and same for Rein.

Dont forget the 2019 Souths game where we needed to debut players (Dunster) and it wasnt fair on him or the team.
