Are you talking about the new indoor snow skiing slope?
Isn't that being privately funded?
I'm unsure.

There was rumours it was going to be a Qudos Bank Arena style to house potential events moving forward.

Penrith Stadium atleast gives content for 11 days a year plus anything else planned for the area as it expands

It's official, Sunshine Coast Stadium will be redeveloped ahead of the 2032 Olympics to become this weird mash of Mount Smart, Townsville, Redcliffe and Hindmarsh. Also includes a nearby indoor arena

If the area keeps growing at its current rate, it will be a perfectly fine ground for a new team to be based at initially and wouldn't require much of an upgrade to get it to 22-25 permanent seats.

Good news for the area.

At one stage they were going to create shifting stands so fumble all could be played there.
The main Grandstand was supposed to look like this with temporary seating in front of it for big NRL games, but they didn't get enough funding.

What they have now is easily the benchmark for regional rectangular stadiums in the country, something that places like Albury-Wodonga and Tasmania should inspire to build
