Doesn't sound like it's much effort to expand to 20k though from 16k. It has temp seats to bring it up to 20k.

At one stage they were going to create shifting stands so fumbleball could be played there.

If the area keeps growing at its current rate, it will be a perfectly fine ground for a new team to be based at initially and wouldn't require much of an upgrade to get it to 22-25 permanent seats.

Good news for the area.

The main Grandstand was supposed to look like this with temporary seating in front of it for big NRL games, but they didn't get enough funding.

What they have now is easily the benchmark for regional rectangular stadiums in the country, something that places like Albury-Wodonga and Tasmania should inspire to build
