Hooper reckons the Tiggers are going after Mythchell Pearce.

I might be crazy but as a bridging player who can come and fill the halfback position for a season until the Tigers get a junior ready/sign someone else he wouldn't be that bad, he's definitely past his best but his team is first in Super League so he's obviously doing a job in that league, he could probably do his part to keep the Tigers away from the spoon although I don't think he'd guide them to finals either...

He's already turned them down but to me the 2 year deal is what was odd about it, Pearce is 34 next week, were the Tigers really considering having a 36 year old Mitchell Pearce turn out for them in 2025?

Benji was cooked by 2014 yet was somehow still playing until 2021.

He's probably applying that logic to Pearce.

*2nd in Super League. The team in first has another ex Tigers halfback leading them around: Josh Drinkwater.
