Considering most of the teams do not arrive back in Australia until Tuesday, I'm a tad surprised the NRL are scheduling judiciary matters for Tuesday. Not saying it should drag on, as it is a serious allegation, but it could be a grounds for appeal on grounds of due process. But Bit hard to formulate a response whilst sitting on a plane.

Honestly Hudson copping a charge is ridiculous. It was a collision. It wasn’t late. It wasn’t high.

If that’s the standard, the NRL are going to be collecting a lot of fine money this season.

Get your eyes checked. Hudson did nothing wrong. Ponga took an epic dive and fooled the dumb merkin with the whistle.
Bold tactic taking on an obvious sin bin, I thought you would have gone for the lack of charge for the crusher incident.

Agree to disagree on the sin bin. One thing I will guarantee you is that there will be a similar incident in another game this weekend and it won’t even attract a penalty.

With the crusher, if they’re consistent I’m ok with it. It was one of those ones that the tackler can’t really do anything about.

I’m actually more perplexed that Guler only got a fine. I thought we were cracking down on hip drops? Don’t get me wrong I’ll take it, but a fine for what was a pretty textbook hip drop isn’t really a deterrent.

The MRC making the Young incident essentially the lowest fine you can get, has to be confirmation they didn't see it as a binnable offence surely?

Or they took into consideration he'd already been punished on the field. I don't know if that's a thing they do, but that would fit.

Bit of a change from last year. As you alluded to with the sin bin, no doubt another player some time soon will be binned and suspended for it.
