Love Wang Chung! Saw them when they played here in the 80s. They played most of the Live and Die In LA soundtrack in the set so I was stoked.

In 1982 ABBA's star was waning and they weren't charting, Frida had a solo hit which rocketed straight up to no 5 on the charts.
Largely forgotten now but this song is a ripper especially with Phil Collins on the drums.

Agnetha released this single not long after Frida's successful song, it only reached no 76 on the charts here in Australia but made it inside the Billboard top 30 in the US. Great song though and i still have the vinyl single.

So the rewriting of American history under the Combover Rapist continues. The DOD took down a webpage about legendary American Hero Ira Hayes and removed references to his Native American heritage. Luckily there are true Americans like Johnny Cash who fully acknowledge that Ira was a Pima Nation Indian.
