I'm not disagreeing with you. Hence my question as to whether they can be played at the larger, oval venues, as is not permitted for FIFA events.Don't know.
But Qld is passing up massive amounts of ticket sales which are pocketed by the host city, by not sharing the love with bigger stadiums around the country.
As for Hindmarsh, I wasn't suggesting that as a venue. Just sayin'. It hosted two 18000 crowds and one 16000 crowd in 2000 of which all three crowds are bigger than what Sunshine Coast will be when redeveloped.
No need to get defensive. I'm just suggesting that with the international popularity of football in this country nowadays (both men's and woman'), Qld are mad not to take advantage of that to try and recoup some of the costs of running these Olympics.
Expect some pushback when you're disparaging quality venues. They are not embarrassing, your word.
