Hopefully several guys are in NSW Cup next week
Injuries might force some changes.
Edwards might return. Kenny looks dodgy. That's two changes.
Casey or Tago take your pick. Both were quite terrible. Not sure we are willing to change both centres in one match.
Blaize on a hiding to nothing. If he gets plonked in and has a shocker he will cop it. As if he is going to fix this mess.
I have a good view from my seats at CommBank
We are too bunched in attack and defence and struggling as a result.
Remember Talau scoring 4 tries on the right? Tago to go for me. Casey is part of learning
It is 2001 Panthers again where we look like no one trains and no one knows each other.
So happy to make mass changes. Cup guys can't go any worse
Mass changes aren't much of a thing anymore. Especially for teams with our success. Doesn't get you anywhere.
End of the day we are running through Origin without 4-5 players. Some combinations have to build even if it's painful to watch.
But at this point we have to make a change somewhere. A more senior player like Tago being dropped would send a message if that is what is required.
And not to sound like a broken record but Parramatta isn't Penrith. Losing your home ground + 'home' games in Vegas and Brisbane. It is hurting big time and it will hurt again in 2026.
What is working in this team?
I am all for Tago going but him being dropped doesn't tighten up the middle
Both edges are a mess defensively
The metres we let in up the middle too is not NRL standard.
We have lost too much of the team to just rely on the past.
Yes but we knew that was the case since Nov, So are we not prepared properly?
Re stadium. You'll need to find some case studies.
I looked at Parra last week. Lost their stadium. Made the top 4 in 2016, bundled out in two straight losses. 2017 they got the spoon. It's a long time ago no but it's the most recent example.
I'm not sure what you do to prepare playing in such a shithole. It's a cop out if you are looking for excuses but I've had a big problem with this for a while now. Its a genuine black hole and we don't have a home.
It's a huge test for Ivan Cleary. His biggest in a while. Squad across the board is down in the dumps.
Just heard Ivan in the presser. Cole won't play next week. You'll get another change guaranteed. Blaize makes the 17 at the least if not starting.
Parra made a GF with that shit hole as a home ground. A squad member from that team is in our starting team, I am sure he is happy to pass on tips if it is needed. Like how slippery the surface seems. He should have some idea
The playing no trials
After the Roosters game Ivan said the game was lost before we played. Is that again hinting at the side not being pr
Yeah but not the point. It's their home ground. They waited two years to play there and when they did the Eels exploded again. Expect a similar result in 2027 for us.
It's never one thing it's many things. But not having a home will be vastly underrated when we scrutinise our results. It's quite a unique situation.
I've almost seen enough of Cole to know what he is. Probably time to punt on Laurie at 6 when Dyl is back. Yeah he has mistakes in his game but at least he'll try something
