I think deep down most saw the outcome against the Dolphins.

It shouldn’t have surprised anybody really, the writing was well and truly on the wall so to speak.

Perhaps the manner of the loss was the most disappointing thing, we were never in it and where very poor.

There are many valid reasons why this season has gone pear shaped very quickly, further salary cap losses, short pre season, Las Vegas, injury the list goes on.

I suggested at the start of this season I thought our roster was the weakest it has been basically since 2020 but many disagreed.

In my heart I was hoping against hope but deep down I felt we were in need of a rebuild and I think that is being borne out now.

I tend to think Edwards, Yeo, Leota, Martin of our representatives still have a role to play going forward but ignoring the obvious will be a recipe for disaster in my opinion.

This roster needs to be re-invented sooner rather than later, we were stacked, but not so much now and thinking we are still stacked is ignoring the obvious.

Yeo is still pumping. Martin too, just isn't getting involved enough which should be fixable. Edwards is a tricky one. His ticker will never be questioned but whether his body holds up to the level we need it to is a huge question.

Leota is the biggest question mark. He could be another one that bounces back but he's been by our most disappointing player so far this season. Won't be easy to shift with 3 years on his contract either.

I still don't see the need for a complete or even semi rebuild

The team is in a slump it happens. Hardwork and dedication will bring us out of it.

Expecting to see Blaize at 6 this week. Cole or Schn at 14. Whomever can carry the most positions needed.

Would like to see Paul A brought into the centres, and Tago given a rest in reggies to sort out his defence. Kepaoa on the wing.

Milky can stay where he is for the moment.

Wouldn't mind to see Patea brought onto the bench. But note sure who to kick out.

I think he'll come out of it. Maybe back to the bench. Start Lindsay and Liam up front. Give them one task, tackle anything that moves.

Even if we do rediscover our mojo, find some form, strings some wins together end up in the top 8 we are still going into a rebuild phase. We need to move on quite a few players who have been part of our top 17-22 players. A few of the NSW Cup players will be moved on at the end of this season and the best of the Flegg boys or new additions will take there place. We will definitely see significant roster movements at the end of this season, including I suspect Scotty Hotty Who I suspect may be looking to extend continue his career but we will not offer him a contract extension and so it is probable he will be released from he last year of his deal. It’s just business.
