Nz bids needs to sharpen the pencil
I've been saying this for months, but you and @Gobsmacked keep insisting they are going to build 300 junior academies and are worth millions.

All on the basis of some shitty AI art.

You two probably think you can pay off your Tax debt using ITunes cards

No body knows what you've been saying for months. It's trolling and personal attacks followed swiftly by the ignore button...
Which is once again coming into frame.

Get of the drink mate.

who are they negotiating with ?
The NZ bids. They've put foward a bid. 3 or 4 different ones I think. Now the NRL demonstrates there's other options, forcing them to put together a more convincing bid.

We just went through months of this with Perth.

First: team 20 is off the table, then QLD might be a better option...
They're creating FOMO... that's when you get the very highest bid.

the difference is that when the private Perth bid was declined, NRL negotiations continued with the WA govt ..

There has been zero news from any NZ consortium for six months now … you would have to assume that none of them have any committed money private or public, for things like a CEO or to set up junior development pathways … until this happens… they won’t be able to even get to rhe starting line

NZ2 makes sense they just want the government to come to the table here.

SEQ3 also make sense but I don’t see how within the next decade it could be possible with dolphins still brand new and titans yet to really find their feet with some success.

The NRL grant is $17-19mill and then there are the extra running costs of the comp having an extra side in it. Barley broke even.
Yeh but that wasn’t the market value of the dolphins tv rights

Also fox wanted more broncos games exclusive so there’s that too

I think this goes a little beyond a negotiation tactic. As it stands for NZ , there are 4 bids. And if NZ 2 is conclusive, then obviously they are in a race against each other.
If a QLD team is under consideration, then these NZ bids are forced to come together to ward off QLD and secure another NZ team.
So we will likely see these NZ bids to come together the same way Perth and the Bears were.
Smart!!!

“It is not a foregone conclusion that the 20th team will be a second team in New Zealand.” (Pvl)

So he’s saying it’s very likely

Good to see they are taking about team 20 again

Sold out Anzac Day game at te kaha stadium.

Wonder why they don’t rate the orcas bid ?

On paper it’s a very strong bid and he met with Lowe and Chalmers

Coe

Junior academies all over nz costing millions a year

License fee paid by the bid

Clubs would be biting off Pvl hand for that cash
