Considering the current form and the impact of key players:

  • Predicted Score: Parramatta Eels 28 - 24 Cronulla Sharks
  • Key Player to Watch: Mitchell Moses (Eels)
The Eels seem to have found their rhythm with Moses back in the lineup, and their recent performance suggests they have the momentum to edge out the Sharks in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

f**k, it's that time of the week already.

I was hopeful earlier in the week, but have a funny feeling I'll be disappointed...

I'm a bit worried about the refereeing for this weekend...they will definitely ease off a little but it's lottery now to see if there is going to be leniency or what direction they will take...we all know last few weeks have been a cluster of epic proportions...
For me the problem is the bunker.
It's the 1st grade refs who are now in the bunker and making these errors.
One easy way to resolve this is have 3 in the bunker....majority rules
It's interesting how many of us whilst watching will comment and agree error made yet the paid professionals get it horribly wrong..
I'd happily become a full time bunker ref..
In all seriousness that would be a terrific job with the right pay and 2 other ppl in the box to quickly discuss before pressing the button for the outcome .
Get onto it Vlandys and Abdo

A step up in class from last week, but at least we get to play the Sharks at a neutral ground 5 days after their Golden Point match.

Should be a good test to see if we're going to be at least competitive this season. If I recall last season Moses made an immediate impact when coming back from injury, but then we fell away again.

Again we just have to prioritise the simple things. Run Hard, Tackle Hard, Hang on to the ball, make your tackles, and solid kick chase after Moses sticks it in the 10m x 10m box every time.

That Dogs game last year killed whatever hope and momentum we had after the BA sacking.

We beat the sharks and Moses had a shocker the following week on the Kings birthday clash we had the Dogs on toast and let it slip.

Psychologically and mentally we weren't strong enough to overcome it and it all just became too hard from that moment until the Spoon bowl
