NRL Rd 11 2025 - General Non-Warriors Thread

I wouldn't ordinarily go down this part of accusations, but Elijah Taylor appeared to be on some sort of substance during that instagram clip criticising Madge. That was weird.

Madge has won a premiership, and an Origin series, and a Pacific Cup 30-0 over Australia, and you're not prepared to cop a bit of intensity for a coach of that level? Grow up. Sometimes footballers forget that there's hundreds of thousands of reasons a year to look past your feelings, your determination to have 1000 beers a weekend etc.

What's the boat cruise story?

You can never trust someone who is quite clearly an habitual drunk, to have any level of rational and intelligent thought over a long period of time.
A couple of days before the game last week, MaGuire chucked the whole squad on a boat and they went for a harbour cruise for the afternoon. According to Buzz, that heinous act cost them the game and fired up the Rabbits

It’s laughable isn’t it… the senile old bat criticises Madge for being too hard but when he takes them on a cruise, he’s taking it too easy. I can’t stand the self righteous prick.

Yeah I don't remember Elijah being anything like that at the Warriors. He was a very reserved, well spoken guy.
Yea likewise. I remember him being seen as a bit of a leader even when young wasn’t he, like Ben Henry. Almost hope that’s just a persona he puts on for social media, otherwise he’s gone off the rails.

Was it Elijah Taylor who basically finished his career broke?? His manager at the time stole most, if not all of his money? Could kind of understand going off the rails if that is what has happened.

I agree though, that video of ET is not the young man coming through at the Warriors.

There should be a mascot round, where you unleash an actual live version of your mascot in the middle of the ground and it is survival of the fittest - including for the fans.

Dolphins would be first out followed closely by the Sharks (unless it's a really wet day), Eels not much better, Roosters for the taking, Bunnies might buy a bit of time with pace while the Tigers and (Kimodo) Dragons could cause a bit of harm to the mostly other human mascots.
Wouldn't the Cowboys have six-shooters, Winchester rifles and lassos? They'd beat everything, bar the Cheaters.

Compare it to that. Different bloke
Ended up watching the whole episode and really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing man.

But gees I hope the social media behaviour now is just an act, I really really like the Elijah Taylor in this poddy.

Considering what he went through with his manager he could’ve been bitter and twisted, but he comes across here smart, humble, talented. He isn’t afraid to give his opinion but does it respectfully.

Man, like you say it’s just not the same person. Not even close.

I cant follow this headclash accident bs. If the tacklers going to lead with their head they are asking for trouble. Im glad they sent Elliot for a hia too. That was bs that its play on.Its careless and should be a penalty.

Is it time we start talking about the legitimacy of short kicks offs? Is there a stat somewhere of how many are successful? Seems like it's an almost dead set certainty for a fresh set 10m out middle of the field, as opposed to 35+ down field
