Still buzzing but as much shit as Ange has copped about his all out attacking high line, he really set up our defence well in the second half and we defended our arses off, 15 mins to go he took off Johnson our goal scorere and put Danso on, a 3rd CB, he's never ever done that. He played according to the game conditions and he's actually getting a fair amount of credit for his game tactics from the British media right now.

He has said he always wins a trophy in his second year and he stuck it up them, I wonder if any of the British media are going to bring that up today.

Super happy for Ange and to see Utd lose.

I still think he’ll looking for a new job within 2 weeks, but a European trophy means he’ll pick up another gig in the EPL in the not to distant future.

Very happy for you mate. Congrats.
Not so much for Spurs winning (although I do like that) but more for Ange and him shutting the doubters up. And that dickhead BBC journalist who Ange tore to shreds yesterday. The only clown in that scenario was the dumb-arsed journalist. What a surprise.

Anyhow.........how good is it that Newcastle United, Palace and Spurs all won trophies this season, and Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal didn't.

Ange, Australia salutes you.

When I was a kid the ABC used to show one PL game a week at 1 oclock on a Sat afternoon, it was their equivilent of Match of the day and Spurs were on a lot as it was their glory years and I just thought they were the best footy team I ever saw, so been following Spurs all my life, second only to the Eels.

From about the 10 min mark is my earliest memory as a kid. Saw Man U defeat Liverpool in a FA Cup Final and they ended up being my team.

I'm not sure if you read the forum linked below, but wow. Most still want him gone. I suspect that you do read it.
And, I thought this Eels forum was bad!!!

I've saved you the pain and only gone back 5 pages, of which there has been about 100 pages of posts since the win on Thursday morning. The other 95 pages are the same.

Management - Ange Postecoglou

That third season line from Ange was a really calculated attempt to try and make him unsackable to Levy and the board. Thankfully I don't see Paratici falling for Ange's preplanned bullshit. And make no mistake, that line was preplanned.
