About the only prop that the Dogs would look at releasing early may be Saluka-Fifita.We have enough of player that fit Morrins style

He is pretty average i think.About the only prop that the Dogs would look at releasing early may be Saluka-Fifita.
Off contract this year, and with Thompson coming in 2026, he could be excess to their requirements.
Not sure if he is the sort of prop Flanagan is looking for.
Even Ben Creagh and Mark Coyne?Mate our board are an absolute pack of dinosaurs. They think it’s still 1985

He sends them to the wrestling coachIt would appear that the Dogs have more players than they know what to do with ?
There is no doubting that old Gus learnt all the tricks about signing the elite players of the competition under the sombrero , but just how does he get rid of the contracted players in the event that they do not wish to leave - as they still have a contract ?![]()
No, they think its 1995.Even Ben Creagh and Mark Coyne?
Fair call but it’s the older rusted on fellas that worry meEven Ben Creagh and Mark Coyne?
Or they decide they want to pursue their lifelong dream of boxingHe sends them to the wrestling coach
100%. As much as Gus did for Penrith, I think it was a shrewd decision that they let him go when they did. Had he stayed any longer, all the progress they made would've been undone. I'm not sure the Bulldogs have the foresight to recognise this as they practically worship the manGus can only spin his bullshit for so long before it comes crashing down.
Gould is a cunning, conniving, couldn't care less what anyone says manipulator with a double sombrero - one as the GM of the Dogs and one for Channel 9. He has the gift of the gab to convince players (Kyle Flanagan, Pangai Junior etc) and coaches (Ivan Cleary, Hook Griffin,Trent Barrett), who he doesn't think fit the situation the club is in at the time, to rack off and they do without too much fuss. We on the other hand take forever and sometimes never to get a player to leave.100%. As much as Gus did for Penrith, I think it was a shrewd decision that they let him go when they did. Somehow I just don't think that Galvin will be at the club for the full term of his deal with the Dogs because Gould will find something that Galvin lacks and another Tom, Dick or Harry will take his place.
If Gould was just the GM that's fine but not as a broadcaster on Channel 9 as well. He is as sly and as cunning as a Fox - who he also got rid of.
Wow , he reminds me a lot of Trump when he waffles on. What you have said KW is so right.
It was SO GOOD to see Chammas put him in his place. You can see in parts of the video Gus is physically shaking and trying to cover it up because he KNOWS he's been put on the spot and that his lies have finally caught up to him. Gus said he's never met Galvin, but has mentioned elsewhere that he has? Also, he said that Toby Sexton is 'very happy'. Yeah, bullshit. He went from almost extending with the club to now being told to bugger off because now Galvin is MAGICALLY available! I'm sure he's just over the moon.
It was good to see that Chammas didn't fall for the typical Gus Gould trap either. You back Gus into a corner just enough, he'll start hurling personal insults your way and having a go at your integrity, like he did for Ricky Stuart (who is a prickly character at times, but definitely nowhere near Gus levels). Chammas didn't care though, and kept going at him and holding him accountable.
Oh, not to mention, this classic. "There's no other GM or CEO in the game that has to sit on a panel like this every week". Good that Chammas reminded him that he actively chooses to do that hahahahahaha
Thinking Chammas’s time on this show by be drawing to an endWow , he reminds me a lot of Trump when he waffles on. What you have said KW is so right.
Good on Chammas for not backing down.
I could see the other guys on the panel agitating and getting anxious as to where the discussion was headed. It was like they have a fear of Gould.

Always seemed to me to be the archetypical bully. I’m tiring big-time of the domineering personalities that are so prominent in RL.At one stage, I was envious of the Bulldogs having Gould as their supremo- seemingly able to attract top players at will while SGI had to make do with the Moneyball players. I was almost prepared to overlook his litany of lies, backflips and back stabs while at previous clubs- as detailed again last night by Buzz Lightyear on NRL 360. No more.
This time the lies and deceptions have been played out in the open for all to see. Gould can argue semantics all he likes but nobody with a brain is buying it. His overconfidence will be his undoing. Hoist with his own petard.
It may take the implosion of the Bulldogs for Gould to be finally condemned. Bulldogs supporters on talkback are almost universally scathing of the Galvin episode and the likely player fallout and want to take a chunk out of his ample frame. The so called "family" club has become the Macchiavellian club. Wig and dark glasses I'd suggest for a while Gus.
