QLD had a great team, but NSW coaches, selectors and tacticians helped gift 9 series in a row through lack of imagination and taking low risk approach to selections and game plans. We didn't try to beat them. We tried to impliment a boring low risk high defensive approach. QLD knew if they could score 12 points, they'd beat us more often than not.

Remains to be seen, but I'll be surprised if Daley inspires this team to play attacking footy and have the nous to adjust on the run. As I said previously, Bellamy is the wildcard to NSW succeeding. He was an ordinary Origin coach himself, but has honed his craft and adapted multiple times since then. There is no doubt in my mind that we are relying on Bellamy for tactics.

Daley definitely made some poor selections last time. Dugan in the centres, Ferguson who I don't think was in good form at the time. I remember he kept picking Aaron Woods too.

Tbh that clip shows how shit the game used to be in a lot of ways.

Niggly little nothing cheap shot on the ground, Webcke lurches after him like a sloth, Bailey runs away, everyone has an aggressive cuddle and then the referees have a conference with three presenters and a special guest.
