1. Burton coming home? unlikely but yes we take him - do we play Blaise as a 14 or in the centres? Im also not against Burton in the centres but he doesnt have Kikau inside him so im not convinced he will be as effective

2. we dont need Gus - its perfect timing for Gus to leave Canterbury now as the squad is in really good shape and performing - the Bears or PNG should be going after him - he is ruthless enough to get a good team together - but once he starts meddling when its in good shape is when things come undone - get the popcorn ready for Canterbury :p

3. If we cant find a spot for Jack in the team then its time to move him on - who fits the squad better now - Cole or Toelau?

Schneids should be moved on - but he will be the cheapest option of Cole & Toelau and is defensively better than both. Maybe he is a necessary burden for another 12 months whilst the Flegg guys eventually get promoted to Cup.

Keep Cole over Toelau easily. TT is like soni Luke in that he looks flashy so at first you fall for him but over time you see the flaws. Cole is a better defender and just more solid all round ran Schneider and TT other than possibly long kicking.

We can keep both. TT wouldn't cost much and seems fine as the 5th choice half in the squad. You're never going to get a superstar in that part of the squad. Schneider at first drop is a much bigger problem.

For sure just answering the question. TT is definitely fine filling the cup squad.

Would give us a bit of depth for 2026 alongside Toelau. Beyond that Sexton should eye off a deal with the Bears tbh.

I don't want to see Brad again. Cole would be a good Centre, but a better 14. Ivan really needs to show what he is made of or he will be remembered as the "Steven Bradbury" of NRL coaches. I like Ivan, but sometimes I wish he showed passion/animated like Ricky Stuart or Craig Bellamy.

I heard a good nickname a while back MUDGUARD shiny on top and shit underneath. Does anyone think this applies to BS?
