They need to change the way people are signed ect.

If you want to leave a club or a club doesn't resign you then you go into the NRL draft at the end of the season..

If you want to go to a certain club and don't want to go into the draft you sign and trade with your current club to the new club where they get something in return..

This will cut out all the behind the scene BS plus open up the NRL draft..

Hope he has to play with PNG and have to live in Port Moresby until he retires.

Is anyone certain PNG is going to get this team going.

Its been 6 months since the announcement and nothing had been done or organised in terms of anything from accommodation to structure of the club or how they are going to ferry players to and from PNG.

Dan Ginnane said on the get em onside podcast a few weeks back he wouldn't be surprised its get too hard basket and they just cancel it.

A TPA cannot include a playing condition.

The contract can’t include playing as a condition and the TPA can’t be used as an inducement by club to sign player, but unless it can be proven to be at behest of club, a third party can definitely make the initial offer contingent on playing for specific club.

Example I run Jimmy’s Kebabs Belmore and I hate the Dogs, but I know a massive portion of my market loves the Dogs so I call up Isaac Ayoub and say I’ve got a juicy TPA for one of your players, but they have to play for Dogs because I need them to be marketing my kebabs to Dogs fans.

You may be right, it wouldn’t surprise me either.

However, if PNG doesn’t end up with a team I’d still like Mahoney to get sent to Port Moresby anyway.

My concern is how well the young'uns can defend big 2nd rowers
