He looks OK in limited minutes I saw. Worth persisting with. Is he rated?
Worth a run over Origin. Ran a good line. Tried when he was on.
From memory he was rated highly in Sg Ball.

If we had absolutely nobody else, then that's fine. But we have other options. I don't want to lose Cole just because the coaching staff have a thing for Schneider.

I respect your love for the plod martie, but adequate does not describe the vast majority of what BS does. He tries hard is about the best you can say for him.BS was always getting picked though. He's not Nathan Cleary or even Luke Walsh but he's done an adequate job when he's been given the gig over the last couple of seasons. When we went away from him earlier this year, we looked a rabble and Souths did a job on us.
@betcats settle petal.
I had to remove my post prior, account was temp blockedI respect your love for the plod martie, but adequate does not describe the vast majority of what BS does. He tries hard is about the best you can say for him.
We didnt look a rabble with Cole/Talagi. We almost reeled in Melbourne with that pairing and then never gave it another chance. Imo we win the Souths game with that pairing. I'd even have backed us to reel in the 28 point deficit, as Souths were basically sleepwalking in the second half.
I do agree with the point you made earlier about the top 25% of our cap being more important than the bottom 25%. But we have to ride or die with Cleary, Yeo, Edwards etc. We have better backups than Schneider in our squad and picking him is costing us points.
To be fair that Melbourne game is the only one where the whole team had a crackI respect your love for the plod martie, but adequate does not describe the vast majority of what BS does. He tries hard is about the best you can say for him.

I don’t mind you coming on here and talking about the Panthers but don’t bring that Parramatta crap here.I've heard we are lining up a big bid for Jacob Preston.Mail is strong. 4yr deal.

Pretty poor. He's not going to be a star, and might not even be NRL quality.How'd Jesse go last week btw?
Do people think he is a future star or just an NRL player.
If the new coach is Mal I hope for Cole's sake he's good at developing on his own or there's a gun assistant coaches because Mal isn't good for anything bar motivational speeches. Any player leaving to be coached by Mal should consider that.With teams desperate for halves and a new franchise coming in.Either we use cole or we lose cole.
Mcclean? Of course he's going to a star. His agility and speed off the mark for his size is freakish. Defending at centre is just really hard, he's still young and improving, he'll be fine.How'd Jesse go last week btw?

McClean reminds me a lot of Critta in terms of size and how he moves. Remember that Critta had some moments too as a young player (was Waqa’s speed-bump one night) but was generally in a winning team and therefore under less pressure. When we have been on top McClean has looked really good.If the new coach is Mal I hope for Cole's sake he's good at developing on his own or there's a gun assistant coaches because Mal isn't good for anything bar motivational speeches. The only really delusional part about Schneider is the belief that SOS or Cogger are noticeably better, they just played in much better sides while here
