F/t Dragons 28 d Knights 24.
Won it in the last 2 minutes.
Phew! I looked at the earlier post from Hewi and he said we lost 22 to 24 and I said damn it (no I said f-ck it). Thank goodness they scored in the last 2 minutes. But, they need to be a bit more focused on their defence for future games seeing that we led 22-6 at halftime.

You’re spot on with this Dave. Their attack is getting them home. They have the worst defence in the top 5 teams but the best attack

Thanks hook hook! Willie and his assistants need to toughen them up in the defence department as they need to improve for the finals. Great defence wins finals matches.

Yeah the BarTV feed was cactus, I had to bits and pieces of footage when it was up, and some of the try highlights, and I went back later just to watch that last 5minutes play out in real-time.. oh man we were goneskies.. pulled that out of the fire.. that said it was 4 tries all.. Glover had kicked several from the sideline (whatever he has been doing, he has really improved in that area btw, I dunno if hes hanging around but he has to be close to most improved @ the club), but the young gun knights fullback Votano had slotted 4/4 also from both touch lines.. for that 2pt lead they held with just a few minutes to go (curious if we would be looking to sign him, hes behind Ponga and Sharpe).

In the end it was a break from big NickT and drew and passed to his winger to close out the game in essentially injury time.. would have been a heartbreaker to lose (and we have had a few heartbreakers my god), Benny Rumble again with a hat-trick on the right edge, I think he got moved back there because he bombed a couple on the left last week.. hes a right-edge or nothing player.. but it means SFinau has to play left edge... im not sure whats going on cause im rly not sure Ben is a longterm player for us.. I think who gets to play what edge decision is more about whats best for the team.. and SFinau seems comfortable on either wing.

KOE Cup team have the bye next round.

Good time to help freshen the squad up for the second half of the season
Good and bad, might have been an opportunity to play Nick in the 2nd row and get Heidke in for his first full game.. but so be it, definitely looking like we will play finals this year.
