It’s still baffling the bunker cannot see the obvious pull back. Yes he's offside but the kicker would put him on side if he's not held back. FMD they can come up with some ridiculous calls.

The dickhead merkin in the bunker said “we acknowledge the pullback but Owen Pattie being offside is the first infringement”.

That’s COMPLETELY wrong. Pattie is permitted to run forward and it only becomes an infringement when he’s within 10 metres of the ball. Sasagi was held back before he came within 10 metres of the ball, so Crichton holding back Sasagi is the first infringement.

And don’t get me started about that CLEAR knock-on.
