Hopefully head office pulls him in not just on one Flano
Ilias is very good but Flano dumped him for losing by a point and has shattered the kids confidence now you want him to rescue Flano?
Our two biggest floggings this year have not been with Ilias in the team
Don’t think it will work
llias very good.. you kidding right? Have you watched the last few weeks on nsw cup? More balls have found the ground than players.
Illias nor Kyle nor glover are the answer! We have to admit we have no quality halves to bring him.

Last night was an A grade debacle, the problem as I see it now is trying to clean up the roster. We have Rava and Lawrie remaining from Griffin but now add in Gutho, Holmes, Cook and Flanno junior signEd by the present coach. Another rebuild coming , I’m 68 il be lucky to see us in the finals in my lifetime. Thank goodness I was at the 2010 grand final.

I hope you don't think Flanagan will be cleaning out his own roster any time soon, it will be whoever comes in after who has to move Flanagan's mediocre recruits on.

Flanagan isn't going to admit his recruitment has been poor by getting rid of any of these players.

Tbh the final scoreline didnt surprise me.....as usual after 5 or 6 mins I knew we hadn't shown up....the energy and enthusiasm The Dolphins displayed from the start was apparent whilst we looked disjointed and unenthusiastic...I saw Lawrie puffing and blowing and plodding back to the defensive line and thought seriously how is this bloke in the 17 most weeks...after our first try was disallowed and they scored under the posts 3 mins later I got up said to my wife that'll do me I'm not watching anymore of this shit and left the room.....and so I didnt....came back in at 10pm and saw the final score......at times I get this notion and say to our friends you know we have been unlucky this year we've lost 3 games by a solitary point, games that we should have won which in turn would place us 3rd on the table....then I see the end scoreline last nite and think nah stop kidding yourself.....yes we've scrapped well in a lot of games this year but we are a long way off the pace to be a dominant commodity week in week out

Forwards need to make meters , but gee our lot are way too slow doing things , playing the ball Lawrie always gets rolled over ...... Said before the game has changed need big fast Athletic players that can step (not just run in a straight line) right across the park ....... Then 3 players that are quick thinking and can control the game ....... The Power game that Flanno is trying to play is done and dusted ........ Their young half had a field day ........ Where do we go from here ? I'd be trying Gutho at 7 , Holmes at fullback , Suli although he doesn't do it for me , in the centre with Allan if available , Cook to lock or off the bench , Liddle to start the game at 9 ........ Definitely need to try something , because it ain't working ........

Agree Illusion.

The knights forward pack made ours look good last week and many blew their load prematurely about it.

Last night was usual transmission resuming, none of our joke of a forward pack ran for more than 100 meters.

Klemmer on the field for 50 mins straight and in that time only made 7 carries, sure he made some tackles but obviously his fitness isn't up to scratch to not run the ball effectively in that time. They were all poor but that's just one example.

OK. We were very bad but the Dolphins were obviously very good. So their very good was much better which to me makes me think that Kristian Woolf is a great coach learning much from Wayne Bennett. His assistants who are his brother Ben and Nathan Fien have been good to date. Both ex Dragons - coach and player.

So while we played badly, we did come up against a club that will be heading towards a top 8 spot in my opinion. They did give the Dogs a hiding so that would indicate that they have the players who can score points and defend them against the top side in the comp to date.
This is true. The Dolphins have some seriously very talented players. Additionally, they are hot and cold, but when they are on, they are red hot. Last night they were on. Plus, they had some of their X Factor returning to the game.

None of what I have said above, of course, will help Flanno now. We were exposed last night, and blood is in the water. He is in trouble.

Yup. Not a good feeling this morning, being slammed in the face with reality guarantees a headache upon awakening. I got slapped hard at the Anzac Day game, got up from the floor and thought I’d seen some light, but the lights went out for the final time in 2025 last night.
btw the Dolphins look hot, they put that roster together in the time it takes for our recruitment team to recycle 5 teams.

Well, that's it for me. This game tonight has turned me off this club. What future does it have?
This scoreline tonight unfortunately could form the pattern for the rest of this year.

Why are we so utterly bad?

I've given up on them now. It's been tough years since 2011 - too tough and I cannot see us being a dominant club ever. No wonder no marquee wants to come to us. Players want to leave and become better players at other clubs.

Flanagan, Young and Carr to me just don't cut the mustard and the players, well what can you say - who deserves to be kept?

Bye all!
Ryles probably saw this coming, Parra building nicely, though not premiership window for a while yet….as a Parra fan totally understand how ur feeling

Gee, what a shit show!

like others I could see in the first 10 mins that we were off. Had to cook lunch with my son visiting, so paused after 30. Told the young fella we could still turn it around, but that i didnt see it coming looking at the team.

all that said, 2 blowout of the year, I’m not jumping to any conclusions or rash decisions. We just have to turn it around in quick order.
