This nonsense has to stop.

Souths have named their strongest side in ages. The Raiders bubble is ready to burst and old Wayne is cooking something special up for Ricky.
Do you mind not wrecking our voodoo mock we are putting on the Raiders for this one? Ta.

Now, where were we? Oh yeah - Raiders are an absolute cert to win this game. ;)

I’d like to see the Raiders celebrate Big Papa’s milestone with a win. But I’ve got a few lingering doubts. Stick mentioned in last week’s presser that team were hanging out for the bye and that they need a break. Certainly understandable after a tough string of travel and play. But will this become a self fulfilling prophecy ? Will the team get behind and think oh well , we need a break anyway ? Can’t win em all you know.

I recall Jarrod Croker’s game 300. Crowd was pumped but it turned into a Warriors ambush. And it was the game before the bye. Wayne is desperate for the win and some key troops return. Latrell’s low 50 metre plus kicks that only get a metre or so high look scary to clean up. Jack against his old club could be rocks or diamonds.

It’s true that the Raiders match up well against Souths. But the Big Papa’s celebrations with the promise of a bye to follow could undo the Raiders.

Bud Sullivan will be starting at 7. He's 0 and 12 throughout his career when starting halfback (across 3 clubs). First for everything?

Anyway, as I said, even when we were a top 4 side the Raiders had the wood on us...

On a positive note, seeing the lineup:

1- Latrell Mitchell
2- Alex Johnston
3- Jack Wighton
4- Campbell Graham

This is the first time we've been able to name these 4 players together, in the 37th game since Wighton's arrival. At least one of them has been injured for every other match.
Graham out.

Make that 37 straight games with at least one of them missing...

Too negative. You are turning into Mr Shaman.

Sullivan has actually looked like a first grader at times this year. Humphreys still on the bench. This is a strong Souths side. Wayne is gonna pull Ricky's pants down.

You want to punt on Canberra's left edge getting some meat pies now Campbell is out (if you weren't already).

Munro in with Tass I imagine shifting to right centre (not his good side and for him, it makes a difference) - unless they shift Jack there. No idea if Munro's dodgy collarbones will make it through in his 1st game back. He was going to get a run in NSW Cup to test himself out but now it's straight into first grade instead. Fingers crossed for him. Get him into space though, that will be fun to watch (unless you're a Raiders fan).

Why do so many teams want a white jersey? I mean I can understand for the very rare cases that jerseys absolutely can't be separated with their main colours, but that Souths jersey f**ken stinks.
