I’m 100% with you. I’d love to know the contract departures. I’m certain it’s littered with get out clauses. The WA team is a big ask but I can see it being an absolute masterstroke.

I just cannot see how the team in a 3rd world hostile country can survive living in a compound.

Call me silly but I think with the raging success of the NRL atm and the success of the Melbourne Storm, it’s critical to get a second team, increase fans there and limit Storms 1 state advantage or at least lessen it.

I think we missed the chance a few years ago to rissole a shit club like the Tigers as I still think they should have been West Tigers (in Perth) and reopened the bears up north in QLD.

It’s retention where they have a massive advantage. Once dudes are settled in Melbourne with wife and kids, it would take a fair pay raise to get them away from there. Especially if they marry a local girl.

Well put it this way I think he has a fair chance of becoming the next Craig field . His mistakes and defence has not been highlighted or crucified as being playing with perennial wooden spooners now that he is at a side coming first every mistake , every missed tackle , every time he is a speed bump will be scrutinised and commented upon . Just like Craig field went to manly and wasn’t the same again
