I'd have Junior comfortably in our top 3 players this year . Coming into this season I would have most definitely agreed with you though....

I think we have the core of a good roster but its littered with a lot of rookies. Its going to be hard for us to compete consistently week to week with so many young blokes. Any first grade coach would tell you the same thing.

What we have been producing over the last 5-6 weeks at least has given me the confidence that each week I know we should be at least competitive against anyone we come up against.

I don't disagree with most of that, including Junior, but I think that's a reflection of the squad.

Junior is being paid Origin front row money, but not providing Origin front row value though. My only argument with Junior is that he's over paid and not playing to his salary.

Impressive that a couple of our starters were only playing Harold Matts last year. Petrus stood out in SG Ball but Bamblett was unremarkable. The club must love something about him to pick him in Flegg. Either that or it was promised when we signed him from Penrith.
