I noticed Leota collide with the ref last night in about the second last or last set. Proper wrapped his arms around him. I wonder if he’ll get a week?

The Dogs I thought fought hard, but didn’t have as much yahoo and high fiving as much as they normally do. I think I will be cheering on Penrith for a 5 peat.

Whilst that’s 100% the truth, I think we’re already ahead of where the dogs were in Ciraldo’s first year where many were questioning if he was the right choice and would get through a second season. I’ve always said Ryles will be judged on years 3 and 4. I’m excited to see where we are in 24 months, but our R&R team need to get a handle on things and be able to sell the club to prospective recruits -something the dogs team have no trouble doing it seems

You are right he probably is infront of where Ciraldo was in their first season, though I think that Ciraldo got a huge leg up for his second season coaching under Gus and having a lot of the ground work started

People will come up with their theories on how the Panfers out played the dogs but truth be told it was just that penalty that separated the two teams.

Suits me I picked the Panfers and back on top of my tipping comp.

He won't even be cited...the officials want the best players playing the game. We may even have the ARLC come over the top and over rule the MRC...and it's the panfers so nothing to see...
(Despite Sorenson being suspended last week)

The NRL is "cooked"..

I was listening to a coach on a podcast where they would take videos in for the refs to view and give feedback on and basically it's a waste of an exercise as they don't give you anything as an explanation why they do things.

Its the same in the NRL they should come out and tell us why Brown gets suspended for a week but Luai didn't get even a fine when he ran into the ref the week prior.

Even with Will and Riley why were their suspensions so long compared to players that have had multiple fines for the same tackle..

Same score as the 2021 semi final that we lost.

1 try each not much between the teams.

Pretty similar game both teams had chances and were denied by some quality defence.

I think Galvin needs to start the rotation of Sexton to 9, Reed to bench won't work at finals time.

Anyway there problem hopefully the dogs start to slide.

You don't think sexton and no Galvin is better? I recon about the same. Galvin looks lost as he isn't getting the ball like a 7. It was a bit like mitch in soo at 6

Or it will end up like the EPL where PGMOL releases the VAR interaction on controversial decisions 2 weeks after the event - once they've had a chance to edit it and water down any glaring incompetence of course.

Well they bought Galvin for a reason.

They didnt need him this year.

But egos have got in the way.

I hope it blows up in there face.
