Also geez those f**kers seemed pretty lackadaisical about catching Lazzat after getting free ffs. The owner, quite rightly, looked like he wanted to kill someone.

$16,500 is incredibly low for Coolmore. They don't even have faith in Storm Boy.

LOL, indeed, that price suggests they are not even going to support him with their own mares.

To be honest Justify has been super overhyped in Australia…. Got Storm Boy and Learn To Fly early and neither of those horses went on with it. You’d expect he would have done better with his 3 year olds but not really much has looked above average.

Ole Kirk could possibly elbow Capitalist sideways Written Tycoons best stallion progeny.

I’ve heard that WT is slowing up and may not be long for it as well. The champs poor old plums must be looking like sultanas.

*edit: Sorry, I read my post and I may have had a mini-stroke, it was so, not good.

Justify is one of those strange sires that has a very average winners-to-runners percentage but a excellent stakes winners-to-runners percentage; basically, he either throws a non-winner or a stakes horse.

Wootton Bassett is very similar to Justify, hopeless winners-to-runners percentage, but they get enough stakes horses to keep their fee at a ridiculous price.

A great sire should have a luscious percentage in both stats unlike those two.

Yeah, WT served 96 mares last season, and he only served about 60-odd mares this season.

He was a very talented horse Ole Kirk, was a fan of his on the track. Always thought he would make it as a stallion by WT out of a full sis to Black Caviar.

Some pedigree…. And Danehill free massive bonus for him

B.Nock >>>>>>> McFlurry, Watadick, all the other local apprentices
Watch that last race again at Nosehill for an example of the above
