Scan results in for the Dragons:

- minor hamstring strain for Christian Tuipulotu, expected to miss 3-4 weeks
- scapula (shoulder blade) fracture for Nathan Lawson, expected to miss 4-5 weeks, played 15 minutes with it to finish the game!
- Damien Cook/Jaydn Su’a cleared
- - minor quad strain for Luciano Leilua, expected to miss 1 game
- dislocated shoulder confirmed for Toby Couchman, decision on surgery in review with specialist later this week
- moderate grade syndesmosis injury for Cody Ramsey, also will review with specialist
Toby needs to have surgery, this year is a right off. We still have 2 players who will probably get a crack at the top 13 next year that have done an ACL. Not every player can come back from these injuries it's a long road. Egan and R couchman won't be training until next year add in half our team who are busted like Sua, Debelin, Leilua, T couchman, Suli the list goes on and so far we don't look like an improved squad in 2026.

Under NRL rules, clubs need to have 30 players registered by June 30, but do not have to replace any players who leave after the start of the season.

The Dragons have lost Tom Eisenhuth (retired), Francis Molo (Dolphins) and Mikaele Ravalawa(Rabbitohs) since the start of the campaign, meaning they only needed 27 registered contracts. Finau Latu also left for the Bulldogs, but was on a development deal.

As it stands, they have 26 players as part of their Top 30, meaning they had to lock in an extra promotion before the June 30 deadline, which they have now done with the addition of Tsougranis.
Latu was in the top 30
We have 27 players registered so we didn't have to "lock in an extra promotion"
There has been no confirmation of Tsougranis in the top 30

At least they got the first paragraph right.

I am not expecting Toby back this season

Dragons young gun signs with rivals after being stuck behind Flanagan in pecking order

Watched glover closely on the weekend. Defensive got caught out multiple times & honestly isn’t setting the world on fire on cup. Take our 5 first graders who drop down weekly and him and illias look poor. So happy to see him go and try elsewhere as this gives Kade reed the chance to step up!

I’m with you on Glover, INWT. From what I’ve seen of him, albiet not that much, I thought he was pretty average. However I thought the same about King-Togia. But he has surprised me and I think he has played well the last few weeks. Time will tell with Glover.

Glover is a serviceable half, who is best at home in Cup competition. Yeah, his stats are great, but so were Darren Nichols.

Him signing with the Bunnies, doesn't guarantee him an NRL debut either. He would be behind Humphries for the 7 jersey and Walker in the 6. There's also the fact that Bennett likes Bud also. And keen to keep him around, but that's up to the Tigers.

Reed is our chosen hope, Glover was a barrier to his progression, failing that and as Yoda said "There is another".
