Huh just noticed Jesse McLean was back in Flegg tonight. Murphy playing up in his place. Wonder if it’s a last throw or the dice to get some confidence into him and then see how he goes back up.

Clarke and Armstrong look to have had a field day in Flegg anyway. Keen to see both come through in the next year or two.

Kikau was from Fiji/NQ. So we haven't had a Pritchard or Puletua here for a very long time.

The Lemoto boys have that kind of size.

Hoka played under 19’s Origin, looked pretty good and had some size about him. Heinz is supposed to be the better of the two.

What is up with the Panthers and 2nd Row juniors these days? In the not-too-distant past it was the position I was least worried about. We used to produce 2nd rowers for fun.

Now we haven't had a true 2nd Rower junior come along in years. It's all been other clubs discards (Capewell, Sorenson, Garner) or early recruitment from out of the area (Kikau, Marto)

Because it's 2025. All teams scout all areas at all times. Guys like Yeo, Dyl and Marto count as much as blokes born in Penrith

The last two that I can think of are CHN and Burns who has turned out to be a journeyman at best.

Depends on definitions of juniors CHN was brought over as a teenager with fisher Harris I am pretty sure so like Martin Yeo came through the junior sides .Our lower grades have been smashed for years.good to see us fighting back with kids from other clubs

I think you will find Jacob halaganua(the dragons kid) and Latu finu both were in our 15s dev squads. We have been getting raided. We lost Charbel to Melb and Roman kid(another good young prop) to the Raiders both recently, wo very promising young forwards.

Not only do we have the most talent, we have been focused in retaining and keeping and all time ridiculously good team together and winning premierships. The kids will keep coming through tho its nothing to worry about to much. IMO we have two of the better talents 20 or under in Luron and McLean, im really hopeful for Lemoto(the one we who stayed).

I also think based on the club going out and getting a number 18-20yos from other clubs, Lamont,

Sialetili Faeamani, Armstrong, Clarke, another young half just recenlty, im forgetting some also. We have always made these types of signings but we have ramped it up lately, i think they have realised they let the juniors get raided a bit to much. Hopefully for the kids that 14,15,16 in penrith now they focus a bit more on keeping them. ​
