I remember a time when we were back-to-back minor premiers, when we'd go on huge winning streaks and even win a damn comp... but we'd STILL get lapped by the Raiders in Canberra.

Hopefully we get to see Trey Mooney in action.
Was really hoping he’d be a permanent member of the first grade squad by now.

I know he’s always thereabouts and probably next man up when Papalii leaves at the end of the season, but I really thought this would be the season he put it all together.

Remember the Soward field goal and cocky strut back, which was then followed by a short Raiders kick off and Dugan scoring off a McCrone grubber to steal the win? Dragons signed both of those guys due to that play probably.

Im tempted to tip Saints, but I just want to see that crazy Insta fan who hates Kyle lose his mind again.

Nah I don't remember that game in 2011 at all. Pretty sure we didn't lose 4 straight games after that Canberra nightmare to tumble from 1st down to 6th just before the finals either. And I highly doubt that we signed Vidot, Joel Thompson, Sam Williams and Bronson Harrison too. Nonsense.

I prefer to remember the chaos times of 2016 when Simple Jack through an intercept to Aitken in his own 20m in GP for the winning try. There was also a power outage as the Dragon's forgot to pay the electricity bill in the same game.

Ahh the average ol days. I think our home winning streak over the Dragons went from 2000-2014 when you signed our kryptonite: Benji Marshall.

I was about 20 rows back around near the 20 metre line on the same side of the field that Dugan scored the try..
I went with a couple of mates who told me all week the Dragons would win while I told them all there was no chance in hell.
After Soward kicked the field goal my friends told me I should have faith and I told them to stfu cos there was still 1 minute left.
The moment Dugan scored I got up and headed to the exit amidst the loud celebrations of Raiders fans and didn't say a word for about 2 hours after the game.
I never went to another game with them again.

Some crazy games between these two.

I still love the golden point game at kogarah when the lights werent working so one corner was basically pitch black.

Jack Wighton throwing a pass that would make Zac Lomax blush to be intercepted in the last minute of golden point

Utterly hilarious

I remember one game more than a decade ago where raiders were just terrible at home, so much so I was standing at the top of the stairs for the last ten minutes, ready to rush to the exit - such was my disgust. There was a Dragons supporter next to me, sobbing with joy about finally beating us. A few minutes on the clock I shook his hand and congratulated the Dragons for finally breaking the hoodoo.

Next minute we've somehow won the game. Shit was absolutely hilarious. I think it was the game that Soward stormed off the field without shaking anyone's hand.

There's always something with Raiders v Dragons.
Last year at Kogarah was the Horsburgh chip and chase which deflected off RFM and sat up perfectly for Horsburgh to score the match winning try
The year before was the Ben Hunt hold-down at Wollongong to save the game, then the return game at Canberra where fox league tried to create controversy when Feegai got tackled at the end of the game.
The year before that there was one of the best post try celebrations re-enacting the Bairstow Ashes run-out.

There's always something between these two clubs and Saturday will deliver.

My fav Raiders/Dragons game was this beauty

I was convinced after this that all the young talent had us on the verge of greatness. Then Campos knee exploded and Dugan turned out to be worse than a 1980s Kambah kid.

This one? When the Dragons kicked a field goal with about 90 seconds left only to let us regather the short kick-off and score a try?

This was our only win in the last 9 games of that season. Dragons were defending premiers while we only just avoided the wooden spoon on for and against.

And they still couldn’t beat us.
