I guess more of an issue with poorer and/or cellar dweller teams - they just don't seem to have the clout in the sponsorship market to demand decent integration.

That shade of green with white & black would be ace for an expansion team... probably Western corridor/Ipswich, with Christchurch being teal/black/white if it's Orcas or green/orange/brown if it's Kea.

If (big if) the Dragons need ANY 3rd colour to add a dimension to red & white, they really should go for grey/silver.

As you said, red & black is the Bears brand.. and with the Dolphins adding gold to their Qld Cup red & white, it opens up grey/silver for the Dragons.
