Getting rid of Matterson is going to be the hard part.
He is our Jackson Hastings. Everyone in the league world knows that Matto does not play with any type of pain or discomfort.
The Ryan Matterson contract would have to be the dumbest contract we have ever signed under MON. And there is a fair field.
I’m ok with us paying a decent chunk of his salary to get rid of him before 26 and spend some of our money should a top line forward become a possibility. If we have the money and need the space that is.
These guys are all gone next year are they not? Minus Matto and Lane? Hoping we can retire Lane and pay him his last year under medical reasons so not as to carry that in the cap.
Surely Lussick is on more than $220k? He would've been earning that in the UK playing behind a bloke that was going to retire at the end of the season he came here. I'd say at least $300k, maybe more.

I don't know how much they're on, just like you. But your numbers at least seem plausible, and I agree those are generally conservative estimates. So they could be on more, but I seriously doubt any of them would be on less than you have guessed.
