Not even the sharkies would pull a stunt like that.If Cronulla announces a crowd number over 1000 you know they are bullshitting lol.

Is anyone really shocked and surprised by this.Another big crowd at Shark Park.
There was a crowd on the non camera side.
Given the broadcast truck, commentary boxes and primary camera banks are all on the western side, together with the lack of any real facilities for broadcast on the eastern side, this is one venue where it's probably not plausibleswitch the camera then FFS

According to the whinging community that endlessly splatters their miserable BS all over this thread and elsewhere these people were not there.
Cowboys fans are some of the best in the competition. Great to see a packed stadium considering both teams aren't anywhere near full strength.
Not likely but it won’t stop people complaining about them. Auststadiums, which is a source I use, rarely reports NRLW crowds. Will this thread be collecting NRLW crowd figures? Would it even be possible?
That’s how you do it folks.
Broncos, knights and cowboys fans are amazing.Cowboys fans are some of the best in the competition. Great to see a packed stadium considering both teams aren't anywhere near full strength.
The Warriors have been doing quite well the past 3 years too.Broncos, knights and cowboys fans are amazing.
they follow their team in big numbers through thick and thin.
Them too.The Warriors have been doing quite well the past 3 years too.
If they're announced by the clubs, they'll be posted in here. I'm keen to see whether some of the experiments being trialed this year go (ie. Warriors moving most home games to Hamilton, Magic Round in Newcastle) as well how the Eels & Roosters matches at Granville & Gosford go second time around. Will this thread be collecting NRLW crowd figures? Would it even be possible?
What is dour is reading your endless complaints about the sharks and state of origin. Respectfully.I get why the NRL went with a Thursday standalone game at Shark Park but starting the season in Cronulla is such a dour experience. This was felt on TV which is probably why the TV ratings were lower this year than the first game last year (383,000 last year in Newcastle compared to 284,000 this year in Cronulla).
Should have started with the Dogs at Belmore imo.
