Exactly my point. They might have had discussions with him however didnt offer enough for him to stay in Australia. More likely those clubs viewed him as a backup/reserve grade half and made an offer to match, if they offered anything at all.
More likely to whom? Or is this just your assumption? Perhaps he has alternative reason as to why he has decided to take the Catalan deal over the current NRL options.
