Russia can't even take a country with a population of only 38 million. They can't even run a modern military operation! And have a third world economy and a large percentage of their population live in poverty. While they have no capacity or capability to assist alies, look at Iran and Syria.

While China is a paper tiger! They have a massive debt problem, huge corruption issues, don't have a floating dollar or proper universities. They require industrial espionage to keep up with modern economies! And just like Russia when they eventually try to take Taiwan, they will find out how poor their military is (just like all authoritarian countries do).

Both aren't going great!

Nuke numbers mean just shit if you can't deliver them (or so old they don't work or use old technology).....Russia has a navy which has lost equipment to a Ukrainian military with no navy while their airforce can't even gain air superiority over Ukraine who are using donated jets and home made drones!

Santions have affected Russia but have to dig deeper then stats, as economies do grow during war as there is an increased "production" due to the war effort!

While living in poverty in Russia is a lot different to living in poverty in US. There is a different living standard expectation. So the stats (which you provided no source to, so who knows what it is referring to) is misleading. For example in the US expectation is the opportunity for a college education or equivalent. In Russia it's barely secondary school.
