Uzi has been one of them, let's be honest. His times just up. He's always been an LBW candidate with that fairly lazy trigger movement but now his hands aren't fast enough to bail him out.
I still think he has runs in him on home roads, but I wouldn't be fussed if we went in a different direction either. Again, we've done this to ourselves with our poor selection policies
Agree with most of that. Oozie said he will keep going while he's enjoying it and/or till he gets dropped, but he's not looking to retire any time soon, but yeah, he's a walking LBW as he gets older
I think we may have f**ked with big Sam's head, he did well in his debut but then we dropped him, same with McSweeney. McSweeney was a middle order bat, so what do we do ? Pick him to bat at the top and don't support him.
Why the f**k do we do this ?
Pick and stick and support them till they get through their initial periods, as that way they are more relaxed and bat naturally. I reckon Big Sam is fighting himself mentally every time he goes out to bat now. He has a ton of natural talent otherwise, he wouldn't be there at such a young age.
