We have a lot of good young players coming through. Right now we need to focus on the position we consider a priority, so, lets give DCE what he wants and also concentrate on signing a marquee prop, possibly Hass. Both of these players are unsigned for 2026.

My guess would be LKT although Atkinson could move to fullback also i think LKT has played there also.

I am not missing the point. We are now making smarter decisions re recruitment hence the decision to let JDB go elsewhere by backing youth

LKT's rise has been a subtle one but he is looking better with each game, more comfortable and capable. He's no x factor as yet but he doesn't look out of place, and he isn't playing amongst a super star forward pack or halves partner. As I have said previously, don't know how Atkinson slots in but I just don't want to LKT flung back to reserves.

If we are going for a DCE what happens with LKT, Atkinson and Flanagan? I suppose depth will at least not be an issue.

Not as yet perhaps the kids coming through are well ahead? Flanno said they have jumped through hoops quicker then expected.

I wouldn't go that far tbh i hope you're right. He has played 10 games & there has only been one game where i went wow that was against the eels.

sharing more of the play making between KF and Gutho

Hopefully he can evolve his long kicking game to a Katoa standard which is extremely high level vs LKT

Good that LKT and Atkinson can play FB and or halves and that KF can play halves and hooker

No doubt injuries will strike and one of them will have to move due necessity
