Well done Tigers. Great win so depleted. They’re not been that bad in recent weeks.

It’ll get downplayed as the Roosters being “under strength” but Tigers missing way more crucial players than Roosters.
We’ve lost 6 on the bounce but I would say only 2 performances were dire…Melbourne 64-0 was an unmitigated disaster against the one team you don’t want to do that against. Manly last weak was also a pathetic showing. The other 4 were a trio of 4 point losses to the Cowboys (the 3 six agains is a mandatory sin bin fiasco), panthers (could have easily won that game) and Raiders (a few brain fades potentially cost us). The 6th game was against the vermin by 10 where we bombed a try with 5 to go that would have won the game, cheers Galvin.

There's arguably no-one on here that dislikes the Roosters more than me, but you cannot argue that they haven't been one of the most injury-affected sides in the NRL this year.

The fact they're 7 and 8 with absolute nuffies (with all due respect) in the spine for most of the year is probably Robbos best coaching achievement, as it's the first time he hasn't been carried by a bunch of superstars.

They're still not a good side, but they should be bottom 4 with some of the lineups they've ditched out, as much as it pains me to write that.
There is no room for dispassionate perspective on this forum Yobbo.

Top 8 is probably out of reach (would have to be near perfect) but if we can snag atleast 4-5 wins from our final games I’d say that’s pretty solid. Very possible with games against the Cowboys at Leichhardt and still to play the Tits twice

We have 4 before the next bye
Warriors (A)
Titans (H) - LO
Panthers (A)
Bulldogs (H) - Parra

we’d need 3 wins here to have a shot, I can see 2 at best. The block of 4 after the bye has a few easier games.

I can see us knocking over the Warriors although no guarantees. They are missing Metcalf and Barnett who absolutely destroyed us earlier in the year so that’s a positive. Plus we get Api and Luai back

Titans would be unforgivable at Leichhardt but we all know how the story goes

Dogs and Penrith we will probably compete but fall short again

Mate we had 10 out, it's a fact.

We had 2 debutants... another fact

That totals 8 debutants this year.. yet another fact

The draw compelled us to play 3 times without Origin players when other clubs like Penrith only had to do it once. Another fact

We won 2 of those 3 games... you guessed it.. another fact.
Against the 3 time defending wooden spooners missing their normal 1, 6, 7 and 9.

Are you counting Galvin as missing? He has gone to another club.

Anyways, I'm not saying the Tigers were full strength or didn't deserve their win. I'm merely pointing out it isn't the upset the media and evidently fans such as yourself believe it is.

We had 10 players out, all of them would be in the 17 if available, that is a simple fact.

When you’re a tigers fan you take whatever you can. Obviously if both teams are full Strength we likely get fisted but you can only play what’s infront of you.

Was surprised at how little intensity the roosters started with, it didn’t really get any better, they just got more field position and have some class individuals who created stuff out of nothing. That was why I was never confident in winning, we just don't have guys that can do stuff like Marky, Tupou and Teddy can. Billy Smith was a big out, I felt a bit of hope when he was ruled out. I doubt our first try is scored if he plays and we left two tries out there on our right side due to poor finishing.

Pack were all pretty good which youd hope they would be as its our full strength one up against their nsw cup side. Latu is definetly our long term7, he plays so direct and fair play to Douiehi, best player on the park for mine.

Teddy isn't one of the current 5 origin players that weren't available yesterday and crighton is a roosters junior
Completely skipped the point of the original conversation on purpose. They were poached as origin players.

???

The convo is about being forced to play without Origin players of which we have 5.

You just need to keep up with the convo.

Anyways if you want to discuss poaching of origin players in general I'm happy to. Teddy was poached, no one will argue with you on that. Crighton was a junior and also signed in December 2017 before he was an origin player.
