Daniel Anderson for recruitment manager ?f**k that how about football manager !
Far more exciting than any player rumour. Major change needed in that department.Chammas on the Footy Show reporting the Dragons are in negotiations with Daniel Anderson to take on the Recruitment Manager job at the Dragons.
well we need a recruit manager and he is better than our current guy No oneFar more exciting than any player rumour. Major change needed in that department.
In the squad:Tell me, who from the playing squad would you get rid of?
I would agree that RFM has been so ordinary that we need to get rid of him twice! I don't expect to see Guler back in FG once we have a full compliment. 1 run for 9 metres in 25 minutes against his former club on the weekend. Little wonder Flanagan didn't put him out there for a 2nd stintIn the squad:
It's a little dependent on who you bring in. If we can't find an improvement then you hang on to the likes of Suli, Leilua, Feagai Allan...otherwise they go. Same with Debelin.
I'd be sayin bye bye to:
Sloan (check)
Lawrie
RFM
Ilias
Guler
RFM (not to be extended)
Sele
Could end up as our coach
Well the Roosters are a lot better than us so I’m happy with this
Perhaps he would bring some expertise / experience in how those TPA's are actually arranged and ideas about how to approach the local business community to get them involved.Daniel Anderson would a be great pick up but in saying that the Roosters have a lot of TPA's at their disposal which makes his role easier in getting high end talent, the club needs to support whoever is in that role by getting TPA's.
That for me is a major KPI for the CEO.Daniel Anderson would a be great pick up but in saying that the Roosters have a lot of TPA's at their disposal which makes his role easier in getting high end talent, the club needs to support whoever is in that role by getting TPA's.
Very impressive CV across the board and obviously a very talented performer. The Roosters don't hire anybody but the best in such an important role so I'm assuming his tragic accident hasn't held him back in any way.Daniel Anderson would a be great pick up but in saying that the Roosters have a lot of TPA's at their disposal which makes his role easier in getting high end talent, the club needs to support whoever is in that role by getting TPA's.
There is no doubt in my mind that the current structure of the St Georg Illawarra Board and the majority of staff and officials employed at the club, are our main problem.Hiring Watsford is a great start. However we need upgrades on our GM of football and recruitment manager.
Danial Anderson would be a great acquisition for the Recruitment manager's position. Yes THAT'S THE WAY YOU DO IT.
When you look at what the new CEO is doing, I'm wondering what did Webb do for the years he was here??...Not much if I'm being honest. That for me is a major KPI for the CEO.
Would just love to get Webbys thoughts & experiences in his time here.
Not particularly related but coincidentally, Daniel Anderson and I suffered spinal injuries on the same day, he from an injury in the surf and me from spinal stroke (infarct) new years day 2023.Recruiting Anderson as the Recruiter would be a big boost for this Club - a BIG BOOST!
The Club is now heading in the right direction it should have a done a couple of years ago. So instead of turning left and right, they are going straight forward in making changes in many areas - next I hope will be a great General Manager of Football.
We will then have all our juinors that we want on our books for years to come and when some older guys leave, newer young ones with plenty of ability will replace them.
The C of E opening really isn't that far away - estimates being March/April 2026. Many of the players we don't want will be gone, new ones that we want should be signed.
I don't know how long Ryan Carr has with us and maybe next year Willie Talau will be the main assistant attacking coach for first grade alongside Flanno and Young (who won'y be leaving unless it is for a head coaching gig elsewhere - not likely though).
I hope all the good stuff really comes to this Club. We deserve it in shovels full.
